When this occurs, you may request to endorse your insurance by extending your insurance period, which will allow your insurance policy to be online and register your vehicle.

After selling your vehicle, youmay be eligible with 2 options:

1. Transfer the insurance to the new owners name with a small fee, or
2. Request to cancel and refundyour insurance.

Reason for cancellation:

Documents required:

1- Sold vehicle within first 8 months of insurance
  • New vehicle ownership certificate from traffic department, or
  • Document to prove vehicle cancellation
 2- If you have found another insurance for your vehicle
  • Copy of your new registration card showing the new insurance details
  • Copy of the new insurance certificate, if applicable

3- Export vehicle within first 8 months of insurance

  • Export certificate

 4- If affected in a car accident (other party caused an accident)

  • Claim report or police report
  • Report from other party insurance provider
